Arashi's Satoshi Ohno Stars in NTV's Drama SP "Kyou no hi wa Sayonara"

 

Arashi leader Satoshi Ohno will be playing the lead role in NTV 24 Jikan Terebi 36's drama SP "Kyou no hi wa Sayonara". After fellow members, Jun Matsumoto and Kazunari Ninomiya's appearance in 24 Jikan Terebi drama specials titled "Myu no Anyo Papa ni Ageru" in 2008 and "Kuruma Isu de Boku wa Sora wo Tobu" in 2012 respectively, it is Ohno's turn to star in one.
The story revolves around 29-year-old 'Kota' (Ohno) who was suddenly told that he has cancer. It will show how he faces the struggles of a patient who is in the verge of dying.
"Kyou no hi wa Sayonara" is based on Miyuki Kazuya's "Oozora e no Tabidachi Gan to Tatakai Nagara mo Yume Miteita Mirai" and will air on August 24 and 25.

Fandom

A lot happen in this fandom recently that need attention...i couldn't believe that such thing happen but it already happen...to those people who are cheap and stupid please repent on ur action...fandom is not a place where u can steal and claimed as yours!!!!

All of the subbers works very hard to give satisfaction to other fans (including me) but because people like all of you exist than they (the subbers)  can't give full satisfaction to other fans.

Please!!!!! onegai!!!! don't juz simply take others people work and sell it and claimed as yours!!! it will makes other in troubled situation!!!

For example like me....i also have trouble connection, slow internet, sometimes i didn't get it at all! but i tried my best to buy a prepaid broadband and use it to download!! rather than buy burned Arashi DVD I'm willing to go bankrupt all year juz to save money to buy their concert DVD, single and album...all of their goods and magazines!!! i rather facing the situation of no money at all than buy cheap cd of them!!

Sorry to say...but for the buyers there are other option than buying the DVD of them...if u can't download it, no internet connection or such..there are still a way to solve that...i'm so ashamed for u buyers!!! and for the sellers...thanks for becoming a THIEVES!!!!! there are no other suitable name for you other than that!!!! leechers is suit u too!!!!

I'm very angry with what they do!!! not juz claiming fan pages in Facebook are the "real Arashi"...bullshit that!!!! Johnny Kitagawa-sama will not allow them to have a Facebook account like that!!!!

STOP IT PLEASE!!!!! RESPECT OTHER IN THE FANDOM COZ WE SHARE THE SAME INTEREST EACH OTHER...WE ALL LOVE ARASHI!!!!

Arashi announces the release of a new double A-side single

It was announced that Arashi’s new double A-side single “Calling/Breathless” is set for release on March 6th.

As reported earlier, one of the title tracks “Calling” has been chosen as the theme song for member Aiba Masaki’s starring drama “Last Hope” which will start airing on January 15th through Fuji TV. The song is themed with the equality in life and hope, and has an impressive band sound with somewhat nostalgic guitar phrase.

The other title track “Breathless” is said to be an aggressive dance number.

There will be 2 limited editions and a regular edition.

Aiba Masaki appears at the stage greeting for his starring drama

On January 10th, popular idol group Arashi member, Aiba Masaki appeared at the stage greeting for the pre-screening for his upcoming drama “Last Hope” held at Omotesando Hills.

In the drama, Aiba will be playing the role of a doctor for the first time, and that day, he made an appearance wearing a white coat. When the emcees of the event, Fuji TV announcers, Nishiyama Kikue and Nakamura Mitsuhiro, complimented Aiba how cool he looked in the white coat, Aiba showed a smile, and said, “Am I that cool? I’m gaining self confidence now. I think I will show the cool side of me more this year.”

As reported, “Last Hope” is a medical suspense drama which features a team of doctors who engage in advanced medical care as the “last stronghold” for the patients that were given up by other doctors. It also shows the hidden pasts of those doctors. Aiba’s role “Hatano Takumi” is skilled in diagnosis as he figures out the patients’ symptoms by checking their heartbeat through his stethoscope.

According to Aiba, he was always wearing a stethoscope around his neck even at home while preparing for his role. He said, “I also started to listen to a cardiac sound CD, but when I was listening to it at night, my heart was beating so fast, which made me scared, so I stopped that right away.” Aiba also revealed that he had a hard time reading the lines with lots of medical terms.

As one of the highlights of the drama, Aiba mentioned the afternoon snack time which is indispensable for “Takumi”. He said, “The banana cheese tart on the episode 3 was the best one so far.”
It was also announced that Arashi’s new single “Calling” (to be released on March 6th) has been chosen as its theme song. Aiba explained, “Just like the drama, its lyrics are themed with lives and hopes, and it is a catchy rock number. Since it isn’t very ‘Arashi-like’ song, I had a fresh feeling singling to it.”
To commemorate the broadcast of the drama, there will be an illumination called “Last Hope Illumination”, in which about 250,000 champagne gold colored LEDs will be lighted in Omotesando for 15 days (1/10~1/14).

In the end, Aiba talked about his ambitions for this year, commenting, “This is an anniversary year as I will be turning 30. I am glad I was able to start off this year with this drama, and I want to enjoy it. I also want to be active as Arashi.”

“Last Hope” will begin airing on January 10th on Fuji TV (every Tuesday at 9:00 pm).

Arashi reveals the track list for their upcoming album “Popcorn”

As announced previously, Arashi will be releasing their new album on October 31st.
The upcoming album titled “Popcorn” will come with the first pressed regular edition and regular edition, and both versions will have different cover jackets, but the same track list.

Arashi announces the big Dome tour + New album

On September 20th, popular group Arashi held the first day of their 2-day live “AraFes” at the National Olympic Stadium.  At the concert more than 70,000 were in the audience and it was announced that they would be releasing a new album “Popcorn” on October 31st, and holding a big Dome tour.

Starting at Kyocera Dome Osaka on November 16th, Arashi will make the rounds in the 5 big Domes of Japan (Kyocera Dome Osaka, Sapporo Dome, Fukuoka Yahoo! JAPAN Dome, Tokyo Dome, and Nagoya Dome). With a total of 16 performances, and including this 2-day “AraFes” concert, the total number of audience will reach 870,000 people for 18 performances.  (You can check the schedule for the Dome tour here.)

As announced previously, this ”AraFes” concert was different from Arashi’s regular concerts, as its set list was based on fans’ requests which were sent about 270,000 of them.  Arashi performed about 40 songs that were ranked top among their singles, tracks from albums, as well as the coupling songs.  Also, there was no Johnny’s Jr. members who usually appear as the back dancers, for this concert, so when each member performed their solo tracks, fellow members participated as the back dancers.  This hard stage made the members out of breath fast even during the first half of the concert, and a member Ninomiya Kazunari said, “I’ve never felt grateful toward Jr. members this much before.”

As the member Matsumoto Jun declared “Arashi’s summer never ends. Five of us will make 70,000 of you happy!”, the 70,000 audience kept giving Arashi enthusiastic cheers during the whole 3 and a half hours concert.
